Grass Fed Beef Links and Info

We are proud to use hand-rendered tallow from our own Animal Welfare Approved and Certified American Grass Fed Beef in our soaps. Why?

We choose to make our soap with Tallow because it makes a bar of soap that is superior to an all-vegetable soap. We've made and used both Tallow and All-Vegetable Oil soap and we prefer a soap that is a blend of Tallow and Vegetable oil. We are committed to making the best all-natural soap possible.

Tallow is a high quality oil that is produced on our farm and it makes great soap! It is nature's original skin care product.

Grass Fed Beef Tallow contains vitamins A, D, and K, and richer in antioxidants, including vitamin E and beta carotene. They are all necessary for skin health.

Tallow adds hardness for a long lasting bar of soap (feedback on our soap is that they last forever!).

There is a quality to tallow-based soaps, with it's rich and creamy lather, that is hard to obtain by using only vegetable oils. The closest oil to Tallow in soap is Palm Oil. Palm Oil adds to hardness on soap, but does not compare in creaminess and conditioning. It would beg the question... Why not just use the real thing "Tallow" and get all the benefits?

Tallow soaps are gentle, moisturizing, and excellent for sensitive skin. Because of it's similarity to our natural skin oils, tallow is readily absorbed and effectively moisturizes.

Tallow retains the natural glycerin and feels wonderful on your skin.

Tallow has been used in soapmaking for thousands of years.

Some people are allergic to plant oils. Pure Tallow soap is a great alternative.
