Our chickens enjoy sunshine, grass, bugs as well as vegetables and grains.
They explore the farm during
the day and in the late afternoon, we close them up in their spacious barn to roost and to protect them from
their natural predators.
Our farm raised chickens
get supplemented with grains (oats, barley, corn & soy), which is grown and mixed by a local farmer about a
mile from us.
